OVERVIEW
Our topograPHic survey service will allow the farmer to obtain an accurate map of their farms topograPHical layout. We perform topograPHical surveys using highly precise Trimble technology and RTK (Real Time Kinematics) satellite navigation.
 
With the three dimensional, contoured map of your field we will give you advice on:
Correct water management- we will be able to tell you were to place your drainage installations to reduce water ponding in your fields, and also, we will be able to advice the location of the best areas on your farm to set up your irrigation system and centre pivots.

Application of erosion control measures-a 3D model of your field (together with your field’s soil data, climatical data and information on your agronomic techniques) will allow us to perform erosion modelling of your field and advice you on how to reduce losses of the most essential part of your soils, the topsoil. This includes correct positioning of contours/levees using the Farmworks WM software.

Land levelling- For sugar plantations and rice fields. We will create cut and fill maps of your farm and upload them onto an FMX display which, using RTK satellite navigation, will tell the grader were to cut and were to fill.
